I just realized I have access to the pictures of Katie Holmes’s performance on “So You Think You Can Dance”. Katie’s performance was aired on the hit show last night (July 23), as part of their 100th episode celebration and in support of The Dizzy Feet Foundation.

I thought she looked stunning- how in the world could anyone criticize those legs??- but she had to have been lip synching. I was wondering if it was even her voice- or if it was her voice with lots of work done on it in the sound lab. SYTYCD has had plent of live performance by professional singers, and none of them sounded that good- you could tell the live performers were breathing hard with their dance routines, etc. I agree with the others that there wasn’t much actual dancing, but she was graceful.

i think she was fabulous!! shes soo naturally beautiful! and that was her singing!!! i was an extra on Dawsons Creek 10 yrs ago in wilmington, nc, and she sang on an episode. she has a real voice!!! Soo taleted
I’m a big fan of Katie, she looks great in staying healthy and not falling for the Hollywood diet mill, by exercising and eating right. However, she has probably a lot more dancing chops that were not shown here. I think a dance number with her and Tom Cruise is in order and would regal anything from SYTYCD! Let’s see them do a dance together, now that would draw rave reviews for sure!!!
very sexy and beautiful looking woman!!! HOT!!!! Voice sounded great but she had LOTS of tech help dubbed in….but the actual quality was pretty decent. Dancing was below average.
Good luck to all the people, like Katie, who take time out to do something and see that others benefit from it.
If we all (yes, myself included) did a bit more to support and applaud this type of initiative from public figures we would soon create a better set of role models than we have today.
At another level altogether, it is great to see Katie enjoying herself again in her work. I have always enjoyed seeing her perform and, on this evidence, can continue to look forward to doing future.

No doubt that she looked good, but not much from her in terms of dancing. At least she gave it a try and is doing something she loves and for a good cause too.
She did so well, I am so proud to be her fan. And looked fab too.
That performance was not good. I also thought it was cringe worthy. It was just not believable. I couldn’t bear to finish watching. Had to turn it off.
