According to NewsoftheWorld.com, Orlando Bloom has said that he will not be returning for the fourth installment of “Pirates of the Caribbean”. Why? To spend more time with his girl!
The site was told by a source, "Orlando loved the films but thinks it’s time to bow out because they tied up nicely for his character Will Turner.
"The producers are OK with that because they want to concentrate on the new adventures of Johnny Depp’s Captain Jack Sparrow."
That makes me sad. I will definitely miss Orlando’s character, but hey, we still have Johnny Depp and that is very good news. It is also been revealed that Keira Knightley will nit be returning. Sounds like we will be seeing some new characters!
In other Pirates news, Variety is reporting that Disney is very close to choosing Rob Marshall to direct the fourth film. Details of the script are not yet knows, but I have a feeling it will be fantastic. Production is believed to be starting in 2010 before Depp works on another Bruckheimer project, "The Lone Ranger."
I can’t wait to hear more about this project!
