In August we first heard about the tragedy involving Megan Wants a Millionaire cast member Ryan Jenkins and his late wife Jasmine Fiore. The last word on the subject was that VH1 had officially cancelled the two series in which Jenkins participated and that authorities had found Jenkins after he had committed suicide.

At the time, no one found a suicide note from him and assumed that there had been none. But now police reveal that they have found a suicide letter on Ryan Jenkins’ computer it was dated three days before he hanged himself.

Sgt. William Kohanek described the one-page document as “a love-hate letter and then some apology to his family,” and told People magazine that Jenkins also expressed intense jealousy and anger toward his ex-wife. “It was clearly defined that Mr. Jenkins was jealous of multiple side relationships that she had,” says Kohanek.

In addition, Kohanek reveals that “there was a lack of any acknowledgment of the murder,” so the note doesn’t qualify as a confession. Instead, Jenkins apologized to his family members for the negative publicity they had to endure as a result of the case.

Perhaps this is the end of the tragic story. I hope that the family members and friends of both people can now have some sort of closure and start to heal.
