Poll: Does Blake Lively Show Too Much Cleave?

Blake Lively has glorious breasts, no question. We’ve written about them in the context of her plunging V go-to style. We’ve objectified them. Girlcrush. Is that wrong?

When she came to Comic-Con to promote The Green Lantern, her outfit was not out of the ordinary for Blake: She knows what works for her – and what’ll get her photographed – and in Blake’s case, it’s her tanned and toned Amazonian body. Oh, who are we kidding? It her rack!!!!

The blogger Lainey Gossip attended the Green Lantern panel, and later ranted about Blake’s “one note” red-carpet style:

It was supposed to be the Comic-Con panel for The Green Lantern. Instead Blake Lively tried to make it about her breasts. Hard-ons aside, I mean, really, is it necessary? There were people who I interviewed in line waiting for hours, I mean hours, in the heat, they’d come from far and wide, and if they wanted to see cleave, they could have stayed at home with their laptops and jerked off.

Skin is not the point at Comic-Con. It is however the point when you’re Blake Lively. Because it’s almost as though she knows she can only play one note. And that note is always short, tight, super titty, and sounds like a mumble.

Did it come off hot and sexy? No. It came off as a joke. That SHE was the joke. Among journalists and other insiders, she turned into a joke. Next to Ryan Reynolds and Geoff Johns and the rest, she was dead air.

BURN, Lainey. And two words in defense of Blake: Marilyn Monroe. Marilyn, of course, used her sex appeal to help further her career, and become an icon in the process. God forbid a woman be overtly sexy. Our wardrobe consists mainly of Man Repellers – and we’d never wear what Blake wears – but shouldn’t a woman be allowed to express herself in high-class hookerwear when she wants to? Blake looks great, everyone knows it, and everything else is just – to use a blogger’s term regarding Olivia Munn-gate – “petty jealousy.”
