THE QUESTION
If the real Allison DuBois is proven to be a fake, would than lessen your interest in the TV show Medium?
THE CHOICES
I watch to gain insight into the lives of real mediums. I would lose interest if the woman the show was based on turned out to be a fake.
I wouldn’t find the show quite as enjoyable knowing it isn’t based on real events, but I would keep watching.
I watch because Medium is entertaining. Who cares if the real life Allison DuBois is a genuine medium?
I watch for other reasons (please tell us those reasons in the comments to the post announcing this poll)
I just realized I have three posts in a row with the ballot box on them. That looks a bit silly, doesn’t it? Next week I will post the reminder earlier and combine the new poll annoucement with the former poll results. Then maybe I won’t feel like I got caught wearing the same clothes two days in a row. Euw.

OK! OK! I can take a hint, so here I am!
Most popular entertainment based on “real life” events is heavily fictionalized, so no, if the woman proved to be a fake it would not alter my interest in the show. George Bush is a big phoney and we all still watch him don’t we? Did it take away from The Sixth Sense’s entertainment value that it was entirely fictional? That aside, here’s a topic for future discussion: The Ghost Whisperer; Medium “Lite”, or blatent rip-off?
Good one! I have added it to my list of post topics. It’s nice to see you here!
Allison Dubois is no more a real psychic than Roma Downey was a real angel.
OOOOOH! SNAP! Good one bobcarp!
hey bobcarp does it scare you that people have skills that are beyond the comprehension of the mind? go study quantum physics and you’ll understand how these things are possible.
