Poll: The next Jolie-Pitt adoption

Since we were just talking about how Angelina Jolie adopted a fairly sick little Zahara when I posted about her fifth birthday the other day, it got me to thinking about the next adoption in the Jolie-Pitt family. Of course we have no way of knowing when it will happen, and they certainly had their hands full when Knox and Vivienne were born, but we do know that they’ve always said they intended to adopt again.

And just for fun, leave a comment letting us know where you think the adoption will take place. I have a strong feeling that Brad and Angelina will adopt a boy or girl from an African country next, but you never know. What do you think?

Tiana, How do you know Angie hasn’t been invited on the show. Maybe she was invited and declined the offer(s). Oprah had Brad on in 2008 if she is so loyal to Jen she wouldn’t have the man on that broke her heart. I watch Oprah and I have never heard her say anything negative about Angie. She has said positive things about Angie many times including about her adoption of Zahara to Shaun Robinson on Access Hollywood. whenever a show is talking about beauty she mentions Brad and/ or Angie. Just last moment she had a piece on where AJ narrates a story about a woman caught up in sex trafficking for the Half the Sky book show. She didn’t have to air that segment if she didn’t want to.

Here I have some information about The Tourist.
The film will be shot in Venice, says costume designer Colleen Atwood. She won 2 Oscars and has been working for Johnny Depp’s films in recent years and now she will work for The tourist. She is a brilliant costume designer. I’m very looking forward seeing Angie in Colleen’s costumes.
Johnny had been in LA for several days but is already back to Europe. next month month he will be very busy for shooting The Tourist and promoting Alice In Wonderland. I wonder they will shoot Venice Carnival which is 6th-16th of Feb. This carnival is famous for parading the old-fashioned costumes with masks.
So my guess is the shooting starts soon.

I thought this was interesting and if this scene is really in The Tourist, I may have to wear depends to the theater to watch this movie. Check it out to see what I’m talking about

I don’t acre to see them on Oprah because Oprah is so overrated. The show cuts to commercials after every question, than their is the screaming audience and Oprah sucking up to her guests. I don’t think it would bring anything really interesting.

About the adoption poll I think it’s just a bit of fun, nothing serious. I don’t think they will adopt very soon because they are just now getting into some calmer waters and an adoption would bring out the madness again in paps etc. I don’t think they would bring in a girl from Africa, Zahara might feel threatened a bit. But of course I don’t know them really so can’t really say!

Anna- Just curious…Why do you think Zahara would feel threatened a bit if they brought in another African girl? I mean, from what Angie said, it sounds like Maddox didn’t feel at all threatened when they brought in another Asian boy (Pax, obviously). In fact, she said he was very happy to have a little brother from the same continent as he is from!

So I’d think Zahara would feel the same way (of course, I do realize that every child is different) if she were to get an African sister. :)

joliepittfanatic – I totally agree with you. I don´t see any reason why Zahara would feel threatened by an African sister. She sure would be happy to have a sister who has the same skin color as she. She loves her two little sister Shiloh and Vivienne a lot but she certainly would love to have an African sister. Like you said each child is different but I don´t think that Zee would fee threatened.

I think given the current situation that they will adopt from Haiti next.

jillb – I agree with you. Given the current situation in Haiti they probably will adopt from Haiti next. Just last night I was watching news and they told that there are now many orphans who are without a home after a local orphanage collapsed in the earthquake. My first thought was that maybe Brad and Angie will now adopt a Haitian child. That child would be so lucky to have Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie as her/his parents. That child would get a loving parents and five loving siblings. I may be wrong but I really hope that Brad and Angie would open their home up for a cute little Haitian child. That child would be deeply loved and well-cared for!God bless Brad, Angie and their chidlren always!

Since people are still discussing this, I was thinking that it will be interesting to see what name they choose if they do end up with another son, especially if they choose another name that ends with an “x”

Kati- Normally I’d agree with you, but I have a feeling they’ve already been in the process of adopting their next child, since International adoption takes so long. Therefore, unless they applied to adopt a Haitian child when they started the adoption process, I doubt they’ll be adopting from Haiti anytime soon. :)

Jamie- Well, I read somewhere that Knox was almost named “Rex” (they apparently even ordered a blanket for him with a monogram for “Rex Leon Jolie-Pitt). Who knows if there’s any truth to that, but if there is, Rex could very easily be the name of their next son. :)

joliepittfanatic – I read that same story about Knox almost being named Rex somewhere almost two years ago. I think that it would be great if they gave that name – Rex – to their next son. In that case there would be four boys in the family whose names end up in “x”:Maddox, Pax, Knox and Rex. That would be cute.
