They can’t all be stripper murders and bank robberies gone awry. There has to be a variety of killings and general dastardlyness in Phoenix. In this week’s episode of Medium, Allison’s trying to stop a massive bio-terror attack. Meanwhile, in more family-related matters, it looks as though we’re finally going to get the return of Tina DiJoseph and actually get a look at the littlest Scanlon. Lee is supposed to propose to Lynn, but Bridgette is having some dreams that may prevent that from happening, which makes me excited for this episode, because I always love me some Bridgette dreams.

I am looking foward to this one. Sounds exciting ! They have not done a bio-terror type episode yet. I wonder if anyone will get sick. Maybe that is what Bridgette dreams about. I love Bridgette dreams. Haven’t seen much of Lynn this season at all or the baby so I guess we will get a glimpse of Scanlon’s personal life. The more Scanlon the better I think.
Can’t wait for this one!! Wonder what Bridgette is dreaming. She is so funny!
The Bio terror attack stuff sound good too.
I can’t wait. As everyone knows, I’m no Tina Di Joseph fan, but I would like to see Scanlon and the baby. Never can have too much Scanlon!
This one sounds really exciting! Can’t wait!
Every episode sounds new and exciting, but I’m really looking forward to this episode! I want to see Scanlon propose even though Bridgette’s dreams are otherwise. Fight to odds Lee!
Although Lynn is not the best actress, she still is a recurring character that seems to be the only supporting character that has appeared in all six seasons, So I like that fact.
Where’s Allison’s friends! She and the show desperately need new recurring characters. But I’m not complaining, I love the show!!!!!!! MY Favourite, gee, Medium is sooooooooo Good, I’m like drooling I’m so excited.
The bio-terrorism plot sounds good. As many of you know, I can’t stand Lynn, and therefore hope Bridgette’s dreams will accurately predict her fortuante demise due to a bowl of deadly viral disease with her morning coffee. As I am acutely aware, however, Bridg is a lot like her mom, her dreams are probably misinterpretations, and Lee will more than likely successfully propose to the hated one. Ah well. I will be entertained nonetheless.
OMG! I want Lynn to fall victim as well. Like I said above, she is the only recurring female left so I have to handle her for now. LOL I love the coffee idea.
Wow! Some of you guys are pretty mean in your opinions. I have always liked Scanlon and Lynn together, they are hardly on that much so don’t get why you hate her so much if she is rarely on.
Kelly, my dear, IMHO, she is a terrible actress. The ONLY reason she has the job is because she married the Glen Gordon Caron. She is usually very wooden and painful to watch compared to the other stellar actors and guest actors on Medium. Some folks think she has improved a lot. I’m not one of them. Minor improvement perhaps, but she doesn’t belong on prime time TV, IMO.
She needs to hone the skills of her craft by paying her dues in community theater, regional theater, then perhaps soap operas and guest stints before being handed a role on a prime time show, again IMO.
ITA Betty. Painful is the perfect word for watching her. Part of what kills me is that I love Scanlon and want to see more storylines with him. In fact, I wouldn’t mind him appearing somewhere in each and every scene along the lines of Where’s Waldo, and possibly wearing a towel. Hencely and thusforth, to see him pitted with the pitiful Lynn is pitiable. The character has no passion, no verve, no excitement to her. Most of you probably recall the episode in which Scanlon was engaged to the evil Elena–watching those two together was fun. I’m obviously not saying that I want Scanlon to be paired with an evil woman, though, just one who is not the equivalent of a wet noodle.
Bless her heart, I don’t think she’s ready yet for community theater …
The only reason why I enjoy Lynn’s appearance is yet again because she is like the only recurring character which brings side story lines. Nothing against her, it’s just the character annoys me. I don’t want a stiff board in the show amongst all the fabulous actors in the show.
ITA Michael–I think she really does stand out in such a great cast.
Yes, Nansee, I think she does stand out but she needs to improve her character, perhaps juggle more storylines her way. We hardly see her this season, not like I really want her there, but she should make her appearance known and not have such a blah story line, it just sheds the little amount of light her character carries.
I like seeing Scanlon’s personal life, I always liked his character and it gives more depth to the show than just Allison’s family. Lynn never bothered me and I never picked up that her acting was inferior. Maybe I just enjoy seeing Scanlon have a personal life that I didn’t notice.
ITA, nansee and Michael! Stiff as a board is correct. Remember the episode a couple of seasons back when the kid (young man) Scanlon sponsored in AA was killed because of the faulty research he discovered? Scanlon was up at 5 AM in the bathroom shaving (yes, nansee, I think in a towel, squeeeeee!) and Di Novi came in and was supposed to be comforting him – OMG! That scene was so “pitiable” to watch because she was so stiff and uninvolved with Lee. David practically has chemistry with a lamp post and when Tina is there, there is nothing coming off the screen. Such a shame, because that could have been a very poignant scene between the two of them.
Remember last season the scenes where Lee and DiNovi were avoiding each other and finally had some words (because of the pregnancy)? Again, those scenes could have been so touching and sweet, instead, I cringed watching her. I’m all for plenty of Lee scenes and would invite a terrific love interest – with PASSION – wold love to see him as a Daddy because I know it would be very sweet, but without her, PLEASE! JMHO
Well then why don’t the directors say something and tell her she needs to loosen up ? If it is that much of a problem I would expect them to say something. That is their job. Some one commented that they want to see Scanlon in a towel so it sounds like they want some hot love scenes with Scanlon -like he was with Elena. Then the writers need to write that stuff but Medium tends not to be that type of show. How often do you see Allison and Joe get romantic? Medium tends to be more of a family crime show.
Gina, I’m sure the reason they don’t say anything is because she is married to the boss.
As far as Scanlon in hot and heavy love scenes, we were speaking tongue in cheek.
Yes and it’s not like they need her anymore. A great story line could come that she died after giving birth, or dies in this episode by the virus, then we will see Scanlon grieve and care for his baby on his own. Honestly, the only character that has been killed off in the show that is a recurring character was D.A Dyke from season 4
Just wanted to jump in and say I like Lee and Lynn’s story. I always enjoy when they are on the show. OK now I am going to just sit back while y’all
disagree with me.
Oh Amy, that’s totally what I disagree about. I like their story line, but she needs more spunk, passion and drive for the show as she is among many talented and KNOWN acters
What I mean to say in my above message is that, I do agree that their story line is good, but she needs to be…. as what I said in the message up above.
I like them too but that is just my opinion. I know she doesn’t have a lot of spunk but I figure that’s the way they write the character cuz otherwise the directors need to correct it, doesn’t matter whose wife she is, the show is a direct reflection of the director.
[...] no Lee or Lynn in it, so we don’t know what exactly the deal with Bridgette’s dream is, but we do have plenty of men in scary-looking protective gear coming after Allison. It looks like [...]
