CBS has posted the new promo for next week’s episode of Medium, “Who’s That Girl.” It’s a possession episode in which Ariel is taken over by a stripper hell-bent on revenge. We’ve got smoking, we’ve got guns, and we’ve got Allison freaking out. It looks like a great episode, and I’m really looking forward to Sofia Vassilieva taking center stage.

That looks freakin’ fantastic! I love the episodes that showcase the amazing talents of Sofia Vassilieva and Patricia Arquette, and this one looks like a humdinger!

Is that the same promo as the one that aired at the end of the episode? I can’t view it.
I definitely think Sofia’s got the acting chops to pull it off!
It’ll be interesting to see how both Allison and Joe handle the situation. I mean Joe’s tended to hide it from his daughters whenever Allison’s been acting strangely.
I’m sure it will be a good episode, I just hope this is the last of the “possession” episodes. I think these were overdone last season. let’s get back to seeing our good old ghosts!
Looks like it should be entertaining. I don’t like the possessions since they have had several so far. I don’t mind stranger possessions like with that doctor
walker. That was good .
oh gosh! This is the kinda episode that I’ve missed the prev. seasons. And It looks fantastic! I cant wait! And I Love the scenes between Sofia and Patricia so i’m really gonna love this one. And as someone else said in a prev. comment, It’s gonna be fun to see how joe react and what allison and he is gonna d to stop her. Cuz allison has been like that or kinda like that a few times and he never told the girls, but now I thinks t’s gonna be hard to hide it! well, I think i’m gonna watch the promo w few times more until saturday!
LOL, is it weird the thing that stuck out to me the most was Joe’s hair when he was running his hand through it =D? That aside this Episode looks so freakin’ intense I can’t wait. I dunno but everyone else, but I just kick out of “Possession” episodes (well, at least on MEDIUM and SUPERNATURAL) and how their handled.
I love “possession” episode! But mayby not everyone thats have been made prev. season. But I think this is gonna be the best one of those. btw, the on when allison switched with a man, that was a really weird and not so good episode.

Lina, it’s not that I mind the possession episodes, I just think they went a little overboard last season with Allison being possessed. It gets old when it happens all the time, just like Joe’s job. I never minded talk of his job before, seeing him at the office talking to a co-worker briefly or talking to Allison on the phone, but this last season it got beyond boring with too much time spent dwelling on Joe’s job and being in his workplace, interviewing employees, talking to his boss, etc. Small doses. You know what they say, “less is more”.
Unless is scenes with Scanlon! LOL! Right nansee?
Betty, I get point. But I think this one is diffrent, it aint allison and Sofia is such a fantastic actress (so is patricia, don’t get me wrong!) but Its fun when it isn’t JUST Allison that gets the weird things. And I agree, Joe’s work = Booooring! They have to have some with joe cuz otherwise he won’t get that much space in the show, but mayby they can focus on something else? Or just talk less bout his job.
I don’t remeber, but I think I’m right. Did Allisons mom die? If I dont remeber wrong that someone of the girls said that granma’ says hello or something? Well, I would like an episode more bout allisons mom, even if she is dead. And not when Allison was young, now. Or something, cuz u have seen joe’s mom and dad. And I would like if her brother is on any episode this season. Anyone else?
Yes Lina I would like to see Lucky(Michael) Allison’s brother come back. He is a fun character. Don’t know much about Allison’s parents.
I agree with Betty there have been too many possession storylines with Allison so far that it is just getting old. I don’t mind if they possess other people like that Doctor Walker did but not when it always involves Allison or her family members.
I agree with Betty you can never get enough of Scanlon!!
And Joes Job storyline has got to go!
But next week looks good even though it is a possession of Ariel.
I agree with you, Lina. I like the possession episodes, especially on Medium, because they are one of the only shows on television that can do that sort of thing and not have it come across as a gimmick. And with the exception of the one with Jeffrey Tambor (nothing against him) last season, they’ve all been done beautifully.
I would also love to see more of Allison’s family. Bring back Lucky! And I would also like to see them explore Allison’s relationship with her mother more. Not just in her teenage years (I thought Peri Gilpin did an excellent job) but as an adult also. I think Gena Rowlands would be an awesome choice to play Allison’s mother, in her later years. I would love to see what happened to them in the years between Allison’s teen years and where we first met her.
Come on, guys, what is it with you and Joe’s job? It’s not that bad, and it lends an interesting dynamic to the show, especially when they can weave it into the mystery of the show, like the episode last year with the bomber whose son grew up to work for Joe. Btw, I thought Patricia Arquette did a phenomenal job directing that episode, and the other one that she directed last season with Anjelica Huston. I hope we see her directing more this year as well. She’s definitely got an eye for it. I read somewhere that David Arquette is coming back to direct some this year also. I want to know when we’re gonna see him and Alexis Arquette on the show, though. That would be so cool.
Joe’s Job can get dull at times, but I kinda like it too. The husbands job is always a major part of any marriage. I also think that the writers do a good job of making Job’s job pretty interesting. I just wish he would find a job and stick with it. I liked Joe’s fist Job that he had in the first 3 seasons more than him constantly changing. I guess they need to change things to keep it fresh tho. I love the possesion storylines, they are always my favorite. It’s just nice to see them get away from so many dreams for once. They normally have a good story too.
Sorry Dawn, but there has just been too much time spent dwelling on his job since last season that it is beyond boring now.
I looked at the fan site from CBS as someone suggested. If you watch the premiere there they have comments about it and fans are complaining about his job over there too.
I think it would be good if he found a steady job and just talked with Allison about it like a normal married couple and not show him at work.

Dawn, For me it isnt that I hate joe or his job, it’s just to much. In every episode theres a problem with his job and he complian bout it. And you just want to say “Too bad Joe, but it ain’t only you that doesn’t have a job! It’s like you and half the world so stop complain” and sure it’s gotta be tuff with all the hospital bills, but I don’t think money matters when it comes to family. And he is lucky that his wife has a job now that he is a “green inventer”. And btw, They can talk bout his job, but mayby not all the time?
I love the possession episodes as she gets to show off her acting skills.
I wish they would do more explaining what happened to her in the coma. I guess Joe’s personal hygene was lacking and he turned off the machines but then what..
Ok you guys are right about the Joe job thing as he needs to do other interesting things (I have heard that Joe is Glen Gordon Caron’s alter ego) but the more sceens with Patricia Arquette and Jake Weber the better, my husband even watches with me and enjoys the family issues.
I was thinks bout a thing. All the dubois girls look scandinavian. Blond hair and blue eyes. Maria and Sofia is russian so that’s not that far away. But anyway, It’s kinda fun little detail.

I love the possession episodes, even the Man In The Mirror, but that was mainly down the adorableness of Marie’s first dream, the pea pod outfit and the Joe/Allison scene at the end. That line by Todd!Allison at the end, “she’s leaving and taking her hair with her!” cracked me up.
Shari, I think (hope) we might hear more about the coma over the course of the season. Was the dream Joe had something they as a family had to consider during the course of Allison’s coma? Or was it just Joe just reliving his fears about close he came to losing her. Did he keep his nightmare a secret from Allison because he wants to remain strong for Allison, not wishing to remind her how close the family came to losing her.
It was very much left to our interpretation, much like Ariel’s haircut.
I wonderered if the girls had any psychic moments whilst Allison was in the coma. The last we saw Joe talked about the girls staying with his sister. (I’m not clear on how many sisters Joe has!)
I’ve always wanted to know more about Allison’s family background. We know she drank to block out the visions and I get the impression they’re not particularly close.
Medium is shown all over Canada at various stations. So I hate the fact that this video (and others..) are blocked from playing on my computer because I live in Canada.
I LOVE ALL THE POSSESSION EPISODES, Actually, my favourite line in “The Man In The Mirror”, when Allison possess the mans body. I love when Allisons body chases after the woman in the hallway saying “She’s leaving, and shes taking her hair with her!” LOL I that.
I can’t wait to see this episode, although I’m going to have to watch it on the computer the next day because I’m away on Friday night. Can’t wait though! KEEP THE RATINGS UP GUYS!!
