CBS has released the promo for this week’s episode, called “Once in a Lifetime.” Ariel gets her first boyfriend, and of course, there’s something wrong with him. In this particular instance, his main flaw is that Allison believes him to be a murderer. Of course, this is something that she sees in her dream, and either because everyone on this show has short-term memory loss from week-to-week, or because she’s a teenager who is over the moon about her cute new boyfriend, Ariel screams at her, “In your dream! Which isn’t real!” Heh. Oh, Ariel. I think I could get away with that with my mother, but you’ll probably have a slightly harder time.

Lol, Kona! I used to think my mother was psychic too, because she always knew where we had been and what we’d been doing. But that’s one of the hazards of living in a small town- everybody knows everything, and my mother had eyes and ears all over town!
This looks like a really good ep though. I love the ones that center on Allison and Ariel because a)those are two amazing actresses, and b) the relationship between them is so real, and I love seeing Allison trying to help her daughters learn to live with her “gift”, especially since we know that her mother wasn’t supportive at all of her in her teenage years when she was struggling with it. It’s a beautiful relationship, even when they’re fighting. But I like that too, because it seems so believable.
They (Patricia and Sofia) do a fantastic job with their characters and that relationship.
Oh, and I’m totally psyched that David Arquette directed this one. I hope that he directs more this year. I’d like to see Patricia Arquette direct some more too. I enjoyed the ones that she directed last year.
I guess her boyfriend knows of their abilities, ne seems awfully calm for a guy who’s presumably been accused of murder in one of Allison’s not so rational moments! I mean she ended up in jail in Doctor’s Orders!
I love the Allison and Ariel relationship, their episodes are amongst my favourites.
And there’s Bridgette to look forward to!
