It just keeps getting better.
I recently wrote about the fight that the Real Housewives of New Jersey were involved in during a (luckily for us!) filmed vacation to the Dominican Republic. Now we have obtained new information about the D.R. brawl. Radar Online reports that the brawl caused Teresa Giudice‘s husband, Joe, and Caroline Manzo‘s two sons, Albie and Chris, and their roommate, Gregory Bennett to be detained when they tried to fly home. Apparently, all the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast members were partying at the Hard Rock hotel in Punta Cana at around 1 a.m. when the fight broke out. The police said that they don’t know who started the fight, but believe it began when one of the cast-members popped open a bottle of champagne and it sprayed on other patrons. About eight people were involved in the actual physical fight: Joe, Albie, Chris, and Gregory were definitely involved. Radar Online also reports that Joe was “‘beating on a guy’ and struck a male patron with a glass.” The New Jersey men were allegedly defending the women in the fight. The two America men who were fighting against them, Adolfo Ariolla and Jason Gomez, each had a fracture in his arm and a fracture in his leg, respectively. After the brawl, authorities decided to detain the four New Jersey men; they brought them to a police station and took their passports. Eventually, they reached a verbal agreement and no charges were filed. They arrived home three days later than they were supposed to.
First of all, can I just say that this season of Real Housewives of New Jersey is going to be insane and I can’t wait. First, the Giudice clan has a physical fight at a Christening. Now, they get into a brawl in the D.R. Add this to Joe’s rap sheet, (which includes serving a 10-day-sentence for a DUI and being questioned for filing for bankruptcy). Crossing my fingers that this season premieres sooner rather than later! I can’t wait to watch what happens.
