Queen Latifah has gotten herself her own line of clothing, and it’s pretty cute:
Queen Latifah’s Curvation lingerie line has branched out with a full line of ready to wear, just in time for Spring.
“The line is all kinds of things to make a woman feel sexy,” says Latifah, whose stylist Susan Moses is also the creative director for the line. “We wanted to do what was trendy and on the edge.” And though she says she “was never a size six—not since I was 12,” Latifah knows the key to looking good is feeling good. “She has to be sexy and comfortable,” says Moses of Latifah’s “approachable glam” style.
Curvation’s Spring Line features lots of silks and jerseys that “silhouette the body instead of trying to hide women’s’ curves,” explains Moses. Latifah’s take? “I’d walk down the red carpet in that.”

Some of the prices seem a bit weird; for example, that dress is like $144 but the tee-shirt is $74. Weirdness. But the stuff is cute, I’d probably buy some of it. Check it out at Curvation.com.

I think its cool shes doing this, because she actually is doing clothes for women with curves and not the skinny women which all the pretty clothes are changing to where you have to be skinny to be pretty in them.
I think the clothes are really cute if i had the money now i would buy the last 2 sets those are my favorite!!!!!!!!!!!

Queen Latifah is definately a women I can call a role model. I am a plus size women who loves and enjoys looking beautiful and sexy and that is one beautiful and sexy lady. Thanks Queen. You once said that the kingdom is possible because of the queen while the king is the sign the queen is the symbol.

You are great! Kudos to your clothing line. However, I’m looking to help my beautiful college age daughter. You see she isn’t really full figured as far as plus sizes but she is big busted with big thighs and bottom like most women of color. She often wears jeans that isn’t really made for young women with thighs and big bottoms and her blouses often reveals too much of her breast. She said people usually talk to her breast and I see why people have a hard time focusing on her beautiful face because of her breast. I quess I’m asking are you working or have clothing for young not thin women? I think your line so far is for older 30+ women. If you need a beautiful not thin young women for this clothing line use her she is beautiful. However, I think there are a great deal of these type of young women that are in need of your conscious expertise! Help them if you can.

I would like to know what Queen does with her clothes after she is finished wearing them. I am from the South and we call them hand me downs. I think she gives new meaning to the plus size women.not only is she talented but she is beautiful.Thank you for being so sensitive to the plus-size women.Delilah Orr.

I think Queen Latifah is doing so many wonderful things as it is and a clothing line is just adding on to the list. So kudos to Queen Latifah and I’m looking forward to more of her things.
