Randy Orton Injury a Blessing

No one wants an injury, but when one comes it’s always nice to find the silver lining. When WWE superstar Randy Orton broke his collarbone in June, it allowed him to spend time with his wife Samantha before she gave birth to their daughter Alanna Marie in July.

“Being able to be home with my wife the last months of her pregnancy and witnessing the birth of my baby, which could have been missed if I was on the road, you know that would have been horrible,” the grateful wrestler told The Sun.

He’s already thinking ahead to ensure he doesn’t miss too much when he goes back on the road.

“I have a Mac computer that has the iChat feature so I’m able to talk to her and see both of them at night,” Randy explained. “I can really stay in touch with them with today’s technology, so that’s great.”

I remember relying on that sort of technology when distance separated my husband and I. It’s amazing what we can do these days, isn’t it?
