  • Salome of Make Me A Supermodel says her Mennonite family taught themselves how to use the Internet to go to the library and watch Salome on the show. How adorable! She says she’s been working out and hopes to move to New York soon. [Tom & Lorenzo]
  • Fresh off the heels of the Real Housewives of Washington, D.C. announcement, the Chicago Sun-Times has announced that an independent production company is looking for the Real Housewives of Chicago. Casting details can be obtained by following the link, but be careful — this isn’t associated with Bravo.
  • If you are “very fit” and over 5′4″, you can audition to be in a “famous Bravo fitness personality’s” workout tape. They don’t mention Jacki Werner, but that’s who it probably is. [Elite Casting Network]
  • Someone hates Kelly Bensimon enough to complain to the New York Post about Kelly being late to a party and then only talking to the guys there, which duh, is her thing. [Page Six]
  • Top Chef Masters judge Jay Rayner is interviewed by The Feedbag and says that even though he’s British, he doesn’t think he was brought on to be the bitchy judge. And ps, no he has not had “a run” at host Kelly Choi. In case you were wondering. [The Feedbag]
  • The New York Times, as only as they can, has declared that the lavish, over the top style of decor favored by the Real Housewives of New Jersey is now a trend. Banquet hall chic. Both Danielle and Caroline’s houses are profiled in the piece, with Caroline seeming extremely normal and down to earth and Danielle coming off as… well, as Danielle. [NYT]
  • Caroline Manzo was also featured in the Daily Beast this week, explaining how her family has no connection to the Mafia, except uh, there kind of is.
