Real Housewives of Atlanta Is All Lisa, Lisa, Lisa

Last night’s Real Housewives of Atlanta was all about my least favorite housewife, Lisa who took a trip to LA to see her family and visit her brother’s gravesite. The producers made Nene go along to keep it entertaining. Upon seeing that Lisa was not from Beverly Hills, but the decidedly lower-budget Inglewood, Nene declared Lisa a “gangsta boo.” That would at least make Lisa somewhat interesting. Lisa tried to prove she was not a gangsta boo by claiming she didn’t know what Kim meant when she called her a “crackwhore.” If Lisa grew up on the rough side of the tracks, no doubt she knew what a crackwhore was. She probably even knew some!

Next up, the farce that is She By Sheree. Because of the magic of blogs, we all know that Sheree’s fashion show was not sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, as she kept claiming. I think she kept saying that to make her look like it was associated with New York Fashion Week, which is also known as Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. It’s also known that Sheree did not show her collection there, but instead showed it in Atlanta. Which is not the worst thing that could happen; there is no shame in being a local designer, and it’s how most big-name designers start out. Sheree’s insisting that her notoriety on a second-rate reality show is going to propel her to hang out with the big dogs in the tents at Bryant Park is laughable.

The winner of the episode was once again the WigMistress, Kim Zolciak. After meeting Kandi last week, the odd ones out go to lunch, where Kim tries to bait Kandi into talking smack about Lisa, and when Kandi doesn’t take the bait, she decides to launch into an attack on the entrepenurial wonder woman. She also brings Kandi a copy of Tardy For The Party, and suggests that Nene be in part of the song. Classiest part: when the waiter brings Kim the bottle of wine, she tells him not to do any of that “fancy shit” and just “pour, pour, pour.”
