Because their lives are so rough, the ladies of Real Housewives of Orange County are going on their Bravo-sponsored vacation to Florida. Rather than eat Cuban food and marvel at some beautiful old school Art Deco buildings, the girls are going to hang out in a swamp as if they were on the opening credits of CSI and hang out in some cheesy bar that no doubt is in the lobby of a W hotel. I am feeling hella snobby today.
The following clip from tonight’s episode shows Tamra and Gretchen in good spirits, with Gretchen demanding alcohol (perhaps for a little late night photo shoot in the hotel?). The husbands show up in their Ed Hardy best and Tamra starts talking about how Vicki is uncomfortable because all the guys are there. Simon decides to make it her mission to make Vicki even more uncomfortable by suggesting they go up to her hotel room and jump on the bed. And yeah, Slade is there, too. He’s back.
actually, simon was the one who said they should all go up to vicki’s room and jump into her room as a surprise to which gretchen agreed saying it would show vicki that they care. i like when they get along.
in this clip, gretchen is laughing at every joke or funny thing tamra is giving out.gretchen tends to laugh at the slightest instigation & tamra likes to make jokes…. now, see? tamra? isnt it nicer to have gretchen laugh w/ you rather than to get in her face w/ all these stupid gossip-related crap?
when are you finally going to realize it’s just better to have gretchen as your laugh buddy than as a target? come on, now tamra.
in regards to the situation w/ simon & w/ gretchen supporting his idea, i think those two can get along if simon drops getting involved in the women’s issue, lie detector tests crap, whatever. what w/ all the headaches simon has w/ his witchy wife & her punk of a son, simon seems he could use ppl who arent going to give him crap. i think that could be jim & slade, w/ alexis & gretchen being the backup crew.
in this vicki vs simon thing going on now on their blogs over at bravotv (over who’s more of a control freak), jim & slade seem they’re the most likely to take simon’s side in the issue. it would be nice to see all of them get along, sans vicki & don. i mention don, because there’s no way he’s going to stop being a lapdog to vicki.

I swear that this show is full of controlling men-trolls; between Jim the Neathdrathal man and Simon the jack ass, who doesn’t really work! What is this show turning in to? These men are brainless twits; Give me Housewives of NY any day over this dribble.

There is obviously more to the Simon/Vickie feud. I think it has to do with Vicki’s actions over the summer and supposedly cheat on Don. Simon probably is giving Vicki the stink eye!

Simon is a disgusting, insecure, control freak! He flew all the way to Florida to make sure Tamra didn’t embarrass him but in the end HE was the one that looked bad, not his wife! When men act this way it is usually because THEY are guilty of something and projecting their behavior.

I don’t normally agree with Vicki but I do agree with her on how the girls trip should be just the girls. What is wrong with these men? They see their wives every day and they can’t part for a few days? It’s just weird.
These women are idiots for putting up with such controlling men. Don is the only normal (takes too much abuse though) husband on this show.
I felt bad for Lynn while everyone else was making out on the boat. I think they all have majorly dysfunctional relationships which is probably why they feel a need to put on a show and pretend they are in love.
I think Vicki should have gone out with Lynn and they could have had a girls night out, staying in her room was dumb.

Did anyone notice how when Jim asked slimey about how Vickie looked at his relationship with Grethcy, he turned it back to make Vickie look like a bitch. You could see the panic in his eyes for just one second. He dodged that bullet. He should not even beable to speak on this program. Him and Gretchy need their own show so it can flop. They are both really sickening. They are the only ones laughing at their own jokes.

I laughed so hard at Jim telling Alexis Pull your dress down. She is soooooo modest. I love them.lol. Gretchen is still hot only she has a monkey on her back(slimey). He is dead weight.lol

From Vicki’s blog, “The last night that of the boat yacht trip, I was told that the men were not joining us that they were going to do their own thing and that Slade had gone home because he had court for his youngest son (child support issues) and wasn’t even in Florida any longer.”

The guys are saying Vicki is insecure for not being able to hang out with married couples but it was clearly planned as a “girls” (women’s) trip! It’s the other husbands/boyfriends who are insecure and can’t handle their wives being away from them…or are they all such pubilicity whores thst they can’t resist a little camera time???? I’m not usually a Viccki fan but she and her husband seem to have a healthier relationship than any of the others.
