Regis Philbin Becomes a Grandfather!

Live with Regis and Kelly talk show host, Regis Philbin has become a grandfather!  On yesterday’s show, he told co-host, Kelly Ripa, that his daughter, J.J., had given birth to a baby boy on Monday named William Xavier Schur.  William weighed 6 lbs. 5 oz. and was 19 inches long.  J.J. is a Hollywood writer and is married to Michael Schur of The Office. 

“To please me, they took my confirmation name – Xavier,” Philbin, 76, said to the Regis and Kelly audience.  Kelly said that the baby’s nickname could be “Willy X” to which Regis countered, “Willy X. … Sounds like a gangster!”
