Release Date Set For “Ego” Music Video Premiere!

Hey guys! I hope you enjoyed the long weekend (those of you who did have one). It’s sad when the long weekend ends, but fortunately, Beyoncé has given us a reason to be excited for the near future! According to recent reports, Beyoncé will release the music video for “Ego” on Thursday, May 21st on her website at 2 pm EST!

The single “Ego” is off of the deluxe edition of Beyoncé’s double-disc album “I Am…Sasha Fierce.” The song itself will officially be released today, a few days before the video premiere.

The choreography in the video was done by Sheryl Murakami. I’ve got to say the dancing in the video is sexy. You can see a demo of what the choreography looks like here.

Beyoncé told Entertainment Weekly about what she wanted for the video, "My goal for [the] video is simplicity. In "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)", I saw this old tape of Bob Fosse’s wife, and I used that as inspiration. I thought in this world, with all the technology and everything that’s going on, to strip everything down—great idea. So I kind of did the same thing, but glossy and black, for "Ego"."
