Don’t expect good viewing numbers this week. The Houston, Texas CBS affiliate, in their infinite wisdom, pulled Medium off the schedule this week to air, “Operation Smile” instead. Now, I know this is an important endeavor, but why did they choose Medium to take off instead of Ghost Whisperer, Numbers, or some other show or time? Drat!
Interesting, So when will they air this episode in that area? Will you have to wait til next week or will they not air it at all? Good thing for Hulu you can always watch it there the next morning.
GRRRRRR!!!! Betty, I have the same problem here. The Orlando affiliate pulled it to air some stupid special about the Florida Gators run for the national championship!! Can you believe that? I am so freakin’ PO’d! And do you know what time they decided to air a NEW episode of Medium??!! AT TWO O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING!!!! AHHHHHHH!! That really ticks me off.
What are these affiliates thinking?!!!! Don’t they know that these are still NEW episodes and that not every show has gone on hiatus yet?! And don’t they have to get approval or something from CBS to pre-empt something? If they don’t, then they should! That’s really got me steamed! Now I’ll either have to stay up all night or wait till the next day to watch it. Dangit! And what’s this going to do Medium’s ratings if it’s pre-empted in all these markets? That blows.
Kelly, Dawn, I’d be happy if it was scheduled at 2 AM, at least I could tape it, but I don’t see it anywhere on the schedule through Sunday morning. Really, really ticks me off. If they had done it last week, I’d be OK with that since it was a repeat, but this is a first-run episode for Pete’s sake!!!!
It could be they’ve moved it and Direct TV doesn’t have the update for the new time. Doesn’t help me watch it! Darn it all!
Betty Hulu.com airs new episodes starting at 5am the morning after.
I checked the CBS schedule and it is on here at nine as usual. I also just discovered that it will be on Sat night at eight- the episode Then and …Again. I think that one is from season 4 can’t quite remember that one.
Don’t know if that episode will be on Sat for everyone or just here.

I can’t believe they’re preempting it your areas. What idiots. I wonder why Medium and not one of the other shows? Thank goodness for Hulu.
