This is an incredible story and one that hopefully will inspire you to spread the word. Rihanna has teamed up with Grey’s Anatomy star Justin Chambers in hopes of finding bone marrow donors to help out a young Nigerian man named Seun Adebiyi who has been training for the 2010 Winter Olympics but was recently diagnosed with leukaemia. The 26-year old skeleton sledding hopeful sent Rihanna a touching letter explaining his situation. She was so moved that she promised to dedicate some serious time in finding a donor.
“Leukaemia interrupted Seun’s dream of being the first Nigerian in the Winter Olympics, but together we can help him make his dream come true. We need to find him a bone marrow donor! Please sign up with DKMS!”
