Rihanna Named UK’s Best Selling Singles Artist

According to ContactMusic, Rihanna has been named the United Kingdom’s best selling singles artist. After releasing “Disturbia”, “Take a Bow” and  “Rehab” – plus the continuous sales that “Umbrella” has brought in, she’s sold 1,294,093 units!

She beat out some of the UK’s own stars including Welsh singer, Duffy, who came in second place and sold a little over 1 million units and “Bleeding Love” singer Leona Lewis, who came in third, selling 992,644 units. Girls Aloud, coming in fourth, sold 876,050 copies and “X Factor” winner Alexandra Burke is fifth place with 867,933.

Good for these ladies! They’ve all got great, catchy tunes that you simply can’t help singing along with.
