In an interview on Good Morning America (airing November 5th), Rihanna reveals that she was in love with Chris Brown, who pleaded guilty to assaulting her in February. Ri-Ri said of the assault,"This happened to me. … It can happen to anyone.”
Rihanna also said that the assault was really hard for her because of how deeply she felt for Brown. “He was definitely my first big love," says the singer.
Wow. That had to be extremely tough. And then surely it was hard to grasp the concept of having to stay away from him after his outburst. All I know is that I cannot wait to see her appearances on Good Morning America (Nov. 5th) and 20/20 (Nov. 6th). It’ll be nice to see her addressing it first hand.
