This Chris Brown case in which Rihanna was allegedly assaulted by him, was reportedly sent to the L.A. Country District Attorney but was sent back with a request for more evidence and information on the case.
Rihanna is being cooperative with the investigation, but unfortunately, some more bad news about the situation has been revealed. According to a source close to the investigation, Rihanna has told police that Chris Brown choked her, while threatening to kill her, until she was unconscious.
The source says that the two were fighting in his rented silver Lamborghini after coming back from the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Party. Chris pulled over near Hancock Park and Rihanna is said to have thrown the car keys out of the vehicle, which sent him over board.
Unsuccessfully, he searched for the car keys and supposedly returned to say “I’m going to kill you!” While doing so, this is when Rihanna claims she was choked until unconscious. When she awoke, he was gone.
Her injuries were so bad that the police decided to take her to the hospital themselves rather than wait for an ambulance. She had a blackened and swollen eye, handprints on her arms, a split lip, bloody nose, two large contusions on both sides of her face and bite marks on her arms and fingers.
Rihanna was sent to Cedars Sinai Medical Centre where she was released during the night.
Chris Brown turned himself in on the night of the event followed by lawyer, Mark Geragos who’s defended Michael Jackson and Scott Peterson. Chris was released on a $50,000 bail.

i think it is dumb how it was over a little dumb txt and rihanna and chris are like my favorite singers in the world and i think tht he was drunk probaly and did not know what he was doin and i think tht it is for his child hood about his step dad beat his mom

i think it is wrong how rihanna got abused but was she cheating and i wish i knew her to find out and i am really depressed because i thought chris was a nice guy in all his songs so he should have a 2nd chance

Look im not really one to judge on anyone’s relationship because everyone has problems… but what i really want to know is what did the text that supposedly Paris Hilton sent say that drove Rihanna over the top…

Look i like Rihanna and Chris Brown but what i want to tell Rihanna is people make mistakes and i think you should take him back and drop the charges … I know its not cool that he hit you and all but not everyone is perfect and us humans get angry… I dont want to see his career go down in flames and i bet you dont want it to either.. You guys had a good thing going on and i just think you should forgive, forget, and promise certain things… make different choices…

I know Rihanna got hurt and everything and i know chris brown was wrong for doing that but Rihanna you should have remembered something… At the end of everyday YOU were the one going home with him… he was the one calling you BABY not Paris Hilton… She was just probably to desperate for him… But in my opinion i think you should take him back and like that boy said drop the charges… you guys CAN look past this mess…

Ohh hell no Eddie, Rihanna if a man puts his hands on you he will always do it again. Thinking you would always take him back. I was a Brown fan until I heard this. No matter who he is, he shouldn’t have put his hands on you. Don’t let these boys like Eddie talk you into some dumb $hyt that you would later regret!!! Listen to me. These girls are talking bad about you cause they don’t want to see the truth. I bet all these girl got your CD.Brown even said his step dad use to beat his mother, that was a turn off right there, cause you should’ve known he was going to be the same.

I cannot believe that anyone would try to persuade Rihanna to go back to someone who hurt her physically, emotionally and psychologically! I think forgiveness is necessary and the first step to moving forward, yet away from the things that bring pain and humiliation! Chris made his bed, now he must sleep in it! I don’t like the fact that it is so ugly, but when people turn away from the truth and facts, they seem to travel down the same dark and wrong road! Heal ~ Forgive ~ Love yourself First and then those who sincerely love you back ~ Life is a lesson, you can either make it obtainable or you can make it as hard as the effort you put into it! Never let anyone hurt you in any manner…it is not acceptable! It never ends!!!!!
