For the first time since Chris Brown allegedly beat her, Rihanna stepped out on the red carpet and posed for pictures yesterday. She was attending the New York City annual Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum gala.
She sported a black Dolce and Gabbana suit and showed off some fresh blond highlights as well. She was the last celebrity to arrive, posing for cameras, but did not talk to any of the press.
Sheesh. Ri-Ri really did stand out with that outfit. It looks a bit to me like she’s just holding it together, which is totally understandable. What I mean is there’s not really any emotion coming from her. She looks a bit like a mannequin to me. Not that I can blame her, though.
Actress Emmy Rossum wrote on her Twitter page, "Rihanna is so sweet and charismatic, she just said hello to me."
She also hung out with her new gal pal, Katy Perry. A source says, "Rihanna and Katy were extremely close. They held hands and hugged almost the entire way up the carpet and were inseparable inside."
Kate Moss and Justin Timberlake co-chaired the event. Other attendees included Victoria Beckham and Madonna.

I feel happy for ri-ri that she can come out of hiding. I do not like that ugly suit, it does nothing for her and who is this new friend. Please ri-ri, do not turn your back on men, because not all men are like chris brown. God made you a beautiful woman and all you have to do is ask God to provide a wonderful man for you.
