Rob Estes in “90210″

For those of you who watched the premiere episode of the new 90210, you may have recognized a familiar face: Rob Estes. Rob Estes plays Harry Wilson in 90210, but was Jess’ father Jimmy on Gilmore Girls.

In 90210, Rob Estes has a lead role as Harrison (Harry) Wilson, the father who takes his family from Kansas and moves to Beverly Hills. He’s the son of Tabitha Wilson and Kelly Taylor’s (Jennie Garth) old neighbor. He went to West Beverly Hills High and decides to accept a position there as the principal.

Harry Wilson being principal of West Beverly Hills High doesn’t really thrill his kids, Annie (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon (Tristan Wilds), who now attend the high school. And it’s a whole new lifestyle for the family.

Rob Estes has had other strong roles on shows including Melrose Place, CSI: Miami, and recently in Women’s Murder Club. He started out in the business as a stunt double. Since then, Rob has done a lot of acting on television and on stage.

    Dear Rob Estes,
Could you ask your producers if they’ll put your names by your faces on the opening credits? Could I get a colored signed autograph of you? Could the bloopers be shown at the end of each show? Could you play on Greek as Scott Michael Foster’s father in the show? Could I get the script of the show in a small booklet? Could you and the cast sing and dance throughout the whole show? Could it be your guy’s real singing?
    Sincerely Delmar Dartt

He does a good job in this 90210. I was hoping watching it might help Gilmore Girls out.

However I was shocked and appalled at the commercial appearing afterwards for “Privileged ” Did any one catch the line ” The Next Rory Gilmore”? They totally ripped off Rory’s Character aswell! There’s only 1 Rory Gilmore no next one sheesh.
