Robert Pattinson went out yesterday without his trusted hoodie and flannel shirt. Probably because he was heading to a taping of Late Night With David Letterman at The Ed Sullivan Theater in NYC on Wednesday afternoon (November 18th).
Rob caused such a frenzy that the city had to shut down the whole block! That’s pretty amazing.
David Letterman asked Rob if he was dating co-star Kristen Stewart and after Rob’s response Letterman replied with “Bite me!”
Rob and Letterman had just discussed how fans ask the actor, who plays brooding vampire Edward Cullen in the film, to “bite” them. Letterman joked that “with the swine flu going around,” it’s not a very healthy practice. Then he asked if Pattinson does bite fans.
“Well, it depends on your mood, really…,” Rob said. “And it depends on what you want to get out of it at the end. There’s variations of biting.”
