Now here’s a rumor that I wish were true, that I think might come true anyway. Apparently, the Mirror reported that JK Rowling was writing a story for a mini-movie to be featured at the Harry Potter Wizarding World in Orlando Florida. Here’s a bit of the back and forth that then resulted. First, the Mirror:
A source said: “They are also working on extra sequences and clips which will be part of the rides. J.K. Rowling has been involved in everything. She wrote the story.”
Hmm. Well, okay, let’s talk to Universal Studios:
“We’re working hard to make the Wizarding World of Harry Potter an exciting and authentic experience for our guests – but we’re not ready to talk about the specifics of its development.”
Which is PR speak for “no comment.” Then the MTV Movies blog chimed in with an opinion of their own:
…the feeling I got from talking on the phone with reps was that something WAS going on, and that they were trying to figure out how best to spin it. I had more than one conversation end with the person I was speaking with promise to send me “information.” Not a statement, not confirmation or a denial. But “information.” Something’s going on, and it wouldn’t surprise me in the least to find out that it was a mini-movie.
THEN, Warner Brothers issued an official statement:
Contrary to recent press reports, [J.K. Rowling] has not written scripts for any films based on the Harry Potter ‘prequel’ (recently written and sold for charity) or otherwise, as part of the theme park or any other purpose.
Good grief! Well, of course we’re all hoping that there IS going to be a mini-movie. Let’s hear your opinions of what it should be about!

I think what they mean by mini-movie will maybe be a sort of “3d ride” or the typical ride that after passing the line and before entering the ride you see some images introducting the atraction.
maybes the prequel will be made into a kind of ride? where you ride on the bike
