While the National Enquirer is focusing on Mary-Kate Olsen’s involvement with Heath Ledger’s death this week, US Weekly is examining her spending habits.
According to the tabloid, MK is “burning through her money.” So much so, that her friends are concerned about her future. They are encouraging her to seek financial help and cut down on things such as “travel, jewelry, clothes and especially security.”
While I have a hard time believing that Mary-Kate’s future is in peril if she doesn’t scrimp, it is pretty easy to live beyond your means. We all know that MK wears amazing clothes, has tons of bodyguards and travels a lot. But if her “friends” really cared about her, they wouldn’t be running off to the tabloids to talk about it!
