TMZ is reporting that Mary-Kate Olsen is at war with her former landlord over an agreement that went sour.
Supposedly, Mary-Kate agreed to refit the kitchen in the $15,000 per month pad after custom designing it to suit her needs. And she didn’t.
He’s also accusing her of flooding the pond in the garden.
However, MK’s lawyer tells TMZ that the landlord indeed gave MK permission to renovate the kitchen and restore it when she decided to leave, but the landlord jumped the gun, restored it himself before MK had the chance and now wants MK to pay for it.
Her lawyer did admit the pond suffered damages, though. I wonder how that will play into the discussions.
MK’s lawyer wants her $30,000 security deposit back, and the landlord wants to keep the deposit and have Mary-Kate pay for the renovations.
Who do you think is in the wrong here? MK or her landlord? And what should be done about it? To me, it sounds like miscommunication gone awry.

Emma : If the landlord can afford a house to rent to MK, I’m sure he doesn’t need to rinse her of any more money!
i would doubt mk would be owing someone 15,000$, it seems a ridiculous amount, minding she’s millionaire (or billionaire).
i bet because the landlord knows she can afford it, his just trying to get as much out of her as possible.
Who cares
