Rumors — and at this point they are definitely just rumors — are that Ugly Betty producers are interested in using Mischa Barton in a guest-star role to fill a five-episode guest arc after things didn’t go so well with with Lindsey Lohan.
According to Pop Crunch, this is what an insider had to say: “Mischa’s career is at a standstill, so this might be great for her. It’s not a done deal yet, but talks continue.”
Those remarks kinda bother me because that’s not necessarily true: Mischa has a few movies coming out in early 2009, such as Assassination of a High School President, with several others in the works.
Regardless, Mischa could benefit from a guest appearance on Ugly Betty as it would put her back on the radar for those who haven’t seen her since The O.C. and have lost track of her career.
