There’s a new superheroes movie-in-waiting – Justice League of America, supposedly directed by George Miller that Warner Bros. is interested in getting to film.
Rumor from The Hollywood News is that Tom Welling has been asked to play Superman.

Tom Welling is the man to become Superman any Movies, and in JLA he have the background and look good. Every body I talk to like him and there fan. He is like Christ. Revees , he earned it. Like Christ said he is exellent in become the new Superman .
I don’t care what some of these haters say about Smallville and about the DC character because those guys are a bunch of ignorant assholes who should be shoving their boots in their mouths – to hell with them jerks. Smallville was a great show and Tom Welling, honestly, has earned the right to be given a chance for the Superman role in the rebooted film. After ten years him building his character, gaining the most experience and potential and at the same time becoming a better actor – better than Routh, thats for sure( no offence to the actor.) and he’s proven time after time, season after season that he does have the chop for the Superman role and he deserves more credit than what some people have given him and the future producer and director for a rebooted Superman film has to realize that. it would justce for Tom and for many Smallville and Superman fans alike. He’s earned it.
TOM WELLING FOR SUPERMAN!!!! he’ll look good in that suit! he has the build for the character. he’s been playing ck for yonks I think it’s time for flights and tights! whos with me!

Yes the writers strike put the JLA movie way behind schedule. there is a rumor going around that its going to start up agian late fall or early winter.

THere is no JLA movie it’s been put on indefinate halt.
I heard that the deal fell through and Tom Welling will not be in the new JLA movie. I was thoroughly disappointed!

Umm… I will watch anything with Tom Welling in it. I know he’s taken, but a girl can dream! Anyways, his wife chose a good one, he’d look good in anything, dirt, slime, a fat suit, ect. If they put him in this movie, I’d bet they’d sell more!
