Posting has been a bit slow this week, and I totally spaced the recent Britney Spears – Criss Angel rumors.
Just in case you missed it, here’s a quick rundown:
1. Britney was spotted spending an evening with Criss Angel in Las Vegas on Tuesday night (or was it Wednesday?).
2. Initial rumors called for a possibility of the two working together a performance for the MTV Video Music Awards next month in Las Vegas.
3. Britney and Criss spent more time together along with a long night in an L.A. hotel. This sparked new rumors of a possible romance.
4. X17 posted a confirmation that Britney will appear at the MTV VMA and that co-operation with Angel was true.
5. Criss Angel tells PEOPLE that his relationships with Britney are purely professional.
Criss told PEOPLE on Friday “It’s amazing what people think, we’re not together. Her manager is my manager, and I’m helping with one of her shows. I’m helping with her appearance on MTV.” Angel added “We were talking about how she wants to do something more with the [awards] show, and about me helping out and hoping to work with her on doing something to make her MTV appearance more innovative.”
MTV Video Music Awards will take place on September 9th at the Palms hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
