He’s best known as playing a shy best friend in the Harry Potter movies, but Rupert Grint is dealing with some adult issues today after a girl claimed she was assaulted at his birthday party.
The 18-year-old actor, who plays Ron Weasley in the popular film franchise, was celebrating his birthday with dozens of guests in Hertfordshire, England.
A Hertfordshire police spokeswoman said in a statement, “I can confirm we are investigating an allegation of serious sexual assault on Sept.9.”
Joshua Lodge, 18, from Hertford, has been charged with sexual assault, reports U.K.’s The Mirror.
Grint, who appears to have been completely unaware of the incident, is said to be horrified by the news, reports the Mirror.

I agree with you, Emmilie. I can’t imagine Mr. Grint assaulting anybody, myself. I don’t believe he’d hurt a fly… maybe a spider…?
And, I, too, am a fan of Mr. Grint’s. No disrespect, but I don’t go by the exterior appearance, not that he’s ugly, he’s quite dishy… I look for the inner being, personality… sense of humour, a caring character, but with a slight vulnerability, which I believe everyone has… I’ve seen Mr. Grint in interviews and he seems really sweet and caring.

Rupert scares me, personally. he isn’t a good actor and he is kinda reminds me of redheaded Michael Jackson. His eyes look like like those of an infected bulldog’s. It is frightening. Is he high?

The girl was underage and his friend Joshua Lodge who was 19 had sex with her in the stables on his property. Lodge did not receive jail time but is a registered sex offender for having sex with persons under 18. Rupert was appalled end of story.

Rupert currently lives in Watton at stone with his family, i know because i live in the same village as him.
