American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, won’t be proposing to anyone any time soon without getting his mother’s nod of approval, if she has anything to do with it. Seacrest’s mom, Connie, recently told Parade.com the following: “I’ll certainly get a vote. I want Ryan to make the right choice. I guess that’s a mother’s dream.”
WOW! I bet the ladies will be lining up around the block after hearing that one… even worse, Connie says that Ryan wouldn’t even be a good husband at this point: “Ryan likes to date, but he’s so busy now. There’s not a woman in the world that wants to go out with a guy who gets up at 4:30 in the morning and goes to bed at 8:30 at night. We’re going to find him a better life as far as not working every single hour of the day before he makes a commitment.”
Oh well, at least the woman offers some hope. She added that “every woman should know that if the guy treats his momma well, he’ll definitely take care of the girlfriend, and that describes Ryan perfectly.”
Has anyone dated a mama’s boy? There is nothing wrong with a man being close to his mother and treating her right but there is a fine line that can be crossed and, truthfully, I’m starting to wonder about Ryan…
