In the wake of the assault drama that took place between Chris Brown and Rihanna in February, the Barbadian singer is already back at work and recording for her upcoming album. According to reports, Rihanna is making music about "different situations in her life, just things that inspire her."![]()
Ryan Tedder, of musical group OneRepublic, is helping to write and produce the album. When asked about the lyrics of the songs he replies, "We’re not there yet. She’s someone … who has something to say, so I will let her lead whatever she wants to say."
He was asked how she seems to be doing right now, to which he replied, "She’s phenomenal. She’s confident and strong and doing what she does."
In other news, Rihanna has also been working with Stargate, a Norwegian production team consisting of Erik Hermansen and Mikkel S. Eriksen.
Says Eriksen, "We were just in the studio making some new records. Always very exciting to start. She has a character about herself now in her voice and it’s great to see," he said. "[It's] very inspiring for us."
The titles of the songs are being kept secret, "I don’t think we should talk about titles just yet. We don’t really know which songs are gonna make it, but it feels exciting."
Well, it’s good to hear that she seems to be getting her life back on track. Hopefully, she’ll be able to push all of this behind her.
