SAG Awards results and some more photos

(I love that photo, with Angelina Jolie passing on a fan’s paper to be autographed by Brad Pitt! So cute!)

The results are in, and unfortunately neither Brad Pitt nor Angelina Jolie won tonight. Again though, like the other awards, they are in such excellent company and up against such wonderful actors and films that I’m just thrilled – as they likely are – that they were nominated. Although winning would be wonderful and it’s what we had hoped for them, the truth is that out of all the actors and actresses and films out there over the entire year, they were chosen in the top five, so to me that’s amazing!

And hey, we get to see beautiful Brad and Angelina photos from the red carpet so we can’t complain too much!

Keep reading for some more wonderful photos!

Sorry guys, I tried to attach the Lisa Rinna you tube video but it won’t let me post but just go on youtube.com and look it up. It’s really funny! What did she say in the end “veclempt?”

Sherry, I totally agree with you – being in the top 5 out of all the actor and actresses for the entire year is already amazing. Win or not, we are still proud of them and support them, right, everyone?!

i FEEL BAD FOR BRAD.TCCOBB IS A GREAT MOVIE, AND SO FAR NOTHING. I DO NOT HAVE MUCH HOPE FOR THE OSCARS. MY HUSBAND SAID THEY WILL NOT WIN, ALL OF THIS BECAUSE OF THEIR PEERS. DO YOU THINK HOLLYWOOD IS JEALOUS OF THEM?

The Lisa Rinna interview was one of the best on the RC. She was totally taken aback. But it was kind of sweet. Shaking their hands instead of all the kissy, kissy. I like the questions she asked them. Refreshing.

I’m sure something has gone on behind closed doors only the judges know. I’m sorry but TCCOBB was a great movie and I think something happened for it not to win something. Just because this couple are now Americas new power couple doesn’t mean they deserved to be dissed.

Zee, you are right and I also support them. But I must say that I will be darn if I can figure out why they are snubbed year after year. And another thing I am confused about, some one here at Pittwatch said that neither Brad or Angie have a star on the walk of fame in Hollywood. Who decides who gets a star? I certainly hope that Brad and Angie really don’t care, because deep down inside it must hurt.

Zee, I also agree with you with these nominations. I’m really happy for them, in a sense they really won already. I think they don’t care if these awards shows don’t give them the title. As they said, being nominated is really a great honor already, In our devoted fans’ eyes, they are the true winners, always.

I don’t know if anyone is still checking back to this page. Hope so.

Mary Ann, I wouldn’t worry on their behalf about some star on the ground. As you said, who decides who gets a star, anyway?! A lot of the time, people’s work and contributions go unrecognized due to fierce competition in the field, or whatever personal problems the judges/critics/boss they hold against you/your image, or just plain accidental overlook. If we look in our own life, we can see the same thing played out. You just carry on and acknowledge yourself. Brad & Ange are blessed with what’s truly important in life – their love for each other, their beautiful family and good friends.

By the way, I did a little research and discovered that many other well known actors & actresses don’t have a star, either. Some examples are Robert Redford, Robert Deniro, Al Pacino, George Clooney, Gweneth Paltrow, and RenĂ©e Zellweger.
