I’m dying to know your thoughts on the new movie poster for Salt. It’s very up close and personal with a shot of Angelina Jolie’s face filling most of the poster.
I think it’s stunning. Angelina looks gorgeous in it and I think it’s very fitting. The whole question is “Who is Salt?” (indeed, that’s even the name of the official movie site – WhoIsSalt.com), so having the face of Evelyn Salt taking up most of the space on the poster ties in well with that.
In all honesty, Sony is driving me nuts. Between showing us the trailer already and now releasing the poster and the movie site, it’s going to be so hard to wait until Salt’s July 2010 release date!
What do you think of the new poster for Salt?

Love this poster. When I look at it I think of the phrase “The face that launched a thousand ships.”

I am a huge Angelina Jolie fan and find her absolutely stunning and fascinating. That being said, I am not impressed with the poster. This has nothing to do with Angie, but with the poster design. I don’t find it to be terribly creative or interesting, nor does it make me curious about the movie. I will see it of course because Angie is in it. But the poster tells me nothing about the movie. I also don’t like the large faded SALT letters over her face. The word ‘Salt’ is on there 3 times. Why? I think I would like it a little more without any of the graphics over her face and if it just said “Who is Salt?” Simple, clean. Sorry kids, this is part of what I do for a living and I don’t like it. Angie deserves better.

Sherry, hope you have recovered and that your daughter’s party went off without any problems. Not easy when you are not feeling well.
I find this picture to be so beautiful. I also look forward to seeing it this summer.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. It’s just a terrible cough virus that’s going around (not the h1n1 that everyone is talking about!). I feel better today. I’m still coughing up a storm but at least I don’t feel as achy and tired as yesterday. And my daughter had a great birthday today – party will be in a few weeks so all our relatives and friends can make it, so today was just immediate family and presents. :)

y1y2- They’ve made it pretty clear that they aren’t married, with Brad saying mutiple times that they won’t marry until it is legal for everyone else who wants to to do so. Both Angie and Brad are known for being honest to a fault, so I doubt they’d lie about something like that! :)
Anyway, I hope they do go back to France soon, as it seems like the kids actually get photographed more there now. :)

Jah,I know what she is saying since the family has been in LA this time We’ve only seen the kids once Halloween. In France we see pics of them almost weekly. It’s selfish but I like seeing them and hopefully the paps are using long lens.
