Samantha Harris endorses Ashlee Simpson for role in Chicago

Like many of you, I had no idea who Samantha Harris was before reading this tidbit of info. Thankfully, Wikipedia filled me in.

And if Wikipedia is right, than it is quite the honor that she is endorsing Ashlee Simpson-Wentz‘s upcoming portrayal of Roxie Hart in Chicago on Broadway, as she recently inhabited the role herself!

Many of you might also know her as the co-host of the hit reality show, Dancing With the Stars.

Harris told E! Online of Ashlee‘s move to Chicago:

“Ashlee is adorable and talented. She can bring in a younger audience plus has some international appeal.”

The article also mentions that Ashlee recently filmed her last scene for Melrose Place and that her hubby Pete Wentz told them that she recently dyed her hair black for an upcoming role.

To be quite honest, while I think Harris’ support is sweet, I want to know what Ashlee dyed her hair for. If I remember correctly, Roxie is a blonde!
