Well…….Now I can tell you what I D-I-D get her for Valentines Day ! OF Course She wasn’t there to get it….Lindsay, perhaps it is time to part company from Samantha Ronson, she is now causing you much trouble, or is it perhaPS THE OTHER WAY AROUND ? Any way, I bought Lindsay 2 Dozen Red Roses, and a Valentines Day Teddy Bear, white plush with pink trim, and holding a plush Valentines heart-like pillow, bright red, that said something like ” Be my Valantine ! ” and a date stamp on it’s foot, that shows this year, 2,009, and had them delivered to the Seminole Hotel, to the Gig that Lindsay was supposed to host. If you don’t stop blowing off work, you will become un-employable because people will stop paying you to be and show up at time specific events, if they decide you are un-reliable. Like the 200+ dollars I spent on the Roses and Teddy Bear, and a card too, ( red with bright red letters, with a hand-written message inside asking you to be MY valentine ( i.e. YOU !) These events are time specific, and cost a lot of money to put on, as well as the lost prestige of having the major star attraction which they are billing out to the public, as a reason to come, not showing up !!!!AND the up-front money they paid you to be there ! You could wind up with a perception/reputation in the studio’s minds of being unreliable, hence undesirable ! If your association with miss ronson is the cause of this, then it is doing you more harm than good. The Flowers were long stemmed red roses, they won’t be much good by march 7th. just like Valentines Day won’t be much of a market by the reschedule date of March 7th. You really left them with a bad unprofessional opinion of you in their minds. I hope you get at least the Teddy Bear, but Oh well, perhaps you wouldn’t have wanted any of them anyway. As a famous man once said, and I quote ” You Pay’s You Money, and You Takes You Chances. ” Sigh, I had hoped to Impress you with the flowers, I had wished it to be a surprise, A ” Pleasant Surprise “at that. Alas, it was not to be. As Durable Power of Attorney In Fact on my dad’s behalf, I couldn’t make it personally to Florida, to present you with the Valentines gift I ahd arranged for you, I have to be here in O.R. Tn. taking care of my dads affairs, but I would have been if I could have been. PLEASE be safe, and don’t let Samantha ruin your Career, unless of course you don’t want that career anymore. I know you are smart and wise enough to look out for yourself, you have had to do so for many many years now, but these years we are in now, are a time of change for you, and ” Desire’s of the Heart ” can blind us to many realities we wish we had been more cognizant of later in life. I care about you greatly ( Hence the Roses ) and don’t want to see you destroy your Career and Life, please think the curent situation with miss Ronson over really carefully. Stay Sharp, make good choices. Please , be MY ” Valentine ” I LOVE YOU, and am not afraid to say it. As many times as it needs to be said.
