On Andrea’s wedding day to gay pro-basketball player Tony Dane, Sam finds herself at a crossroads and must choose between being with Winston Funk or Todd. Meanwhile, Regina and Howard discover that their lives are beginning to take separate paths.

Samantha Who? Highlights:

• Dena and Andrea both enjoy the self-indulgent lifestyle of the rich, as they prep for the wedding the next day. Sam doesn’t enjoy it.
• Andrea wants Winston at the wedding, but Sam isn’t yet ready to be a “power couple”…. or for Todd to see photos of them together.
• Chapman comes to drop off Dena’s stuffed animal and Dena, when talking about a how-well-do-you-know-Andrea bachelorette game, drops about Sam’s amnesia. He never knew, and Sam was his best performer for a year! Knowing nothing!
• Regina is now on the RV, cleaning up the mess. Howard confesses to picking up a hitch hiker, a woman “half Regina’s size”. She stalks out, for a number of reasons.
• Funk comes by dressed as a waiter to deliver Andrea a wedding present – his island, for their honeymoon. He’s also trying to impress Sam with his riches – she’s not impressed by that
• With some prodding, Sam invites Winston to the wedding
• Sam is holding up Andrea’s dress pretending it’s her wedding… when Todd calls… then walks in… to take Sam to the wedding!
• Sam spilled orange juice on the dress… so she tries to cover it with goat cheese, like ‘spackle’
• Todd clues in, that Sam has a date for the wedding. Sam mumbles ‘some guy from work’ and Todd guesses Funk. A fight ensues.
• Sam says they’re always out of synch and Todd gets angry that Sam can never make up her mind to be with him. He storms out, but not before finding and taking his engagement ring for Sam with him!
• Regina confronts Howard with photos of him from 4 days of his roadtrip, assuming (correctly) that the hitchhiker stayed with Howard all that time!

• Regina is hurt that Howard shared his life with someone, because his life belongs to her (she cries). Howard says Regina didn’t want to go! They try to hug and make-up, and Howard notices Regina’s new tattoo
• Chapman isn’t ready for the wedding yet – he’d stayed up all night, disturbed that Samantha had done her job without knowing anything. It makes him feel unimportant.
• Andrea’s mom hit traffic, so the ‘network’ filming the wedding presents her with alternate parents.
• Seth is interviewed about setting up Andrea and Tony – he’s sad, saying he “really wanted her” for himself, and is upset about the wedding. Andrea looks so sad!
• Sam sees the footage of Andrea talking to Funk about Todd in the elevator – and realizes Funk was the one who gave Todd the job, to get him out of the picture.
• Sam thinks herself a fool for believing Funk and his advances, thinking they were honest
• Funk doesn’t feel bad about what he did – he offered Todd a job, Todd was the one who took it. And all he wants is Sam.
• Sam says she wants to blow off the wedding, grabbing Funk to go with her.
• Todd and Seth are both sitting in the airport bar mourning their lost loves. Todd reminds Seth that “the movie’s not over”, so Seth is inspired to go interrupt the wedding.
• Regina and Howard are fighting about the tattoo, and about Regina’s new lifestyle. Regina doesn’t want to live in an RV, she wants to eat sushi. She apologizes, but says she’s young… she’s not ready to rest. Howard says he wants to look at the past in his future – to see monuments and things. Regina says that’s not for her.
• Sam calls from the helicopter to tell Andrea she won’t be at the wedding, that she has finally realized what she wants and can’t miss it.
• Andrea is in a panic – she’s getting married without her parents and without her maid of honor.
• Just as Andrea is about to go down the aisle, she sees Seth pull up. Cue the music.
• Todd is checking his bags when he sees Sam on tv, and decides to fight for his own true love.
• Sam arrives at the airport, then breaks it to Funk that “he sucks” and she just wanted the ride to the airport to catch Todd. Sam tells Funk she’s not his puppet and he can’t control her fate.
• Todd is trying to get his bag back off from the plane, but he’s willing to leave his bag on the plane if he has to. Cue security (sending a bag you don’t plan on going with is a no-no)
• Sam tries to buy a one-way ticket to anywhere, letting slip she doesn’t plan on making it anywhere (she just wants into the secured areas). Cue security.
• Sam is ushered into security, babbling about Todd and why she wants him. That she doesn’t care if they’re not in synch, so long as they do it together. Todd overhears, and tells her to “shut up and tell him that.”
• Sam and Todd each lean over to get something… Todd, his ring for Sam… Sam, Andrea’s engagement ring (which she was holding for her). They each say “Will you marry me?” at the same time! Cue the kissing.
• Seth is in bed with Andrea. She says it’s nasty, but she still spoons him.
• Chapman and Dena are at the airport, with her dogs. They’re planning on taking off, they’re “free.”
• Sam and Todd return home, saying to Frank that they’re getting married! Todd scoops up Sam and, with his keys (thrilling to Sam), they go home. Frank wishes them lots and lots of luck.
• Though Sam has her happily ever after, Regina has other plans. She’s left Howard, and plans to live with Sam.
