Sandra Nyanchoka, a 5’11 student from Kenya, who now resides in Maryland, was interviewed by DC 50 News about her experience of Cycle 12 of America’s Next Top Model.
Sandra currently goes to Montgomery College. She tried out in DC and found the casting really nerve-wracking. She was still really excited, but was unsure about trying out. She planned to be confident and do her best during casting and hopefully it will all work it. It certainly did! Sandra is on the show and is definitely my pre-show favorite.
She’s very grateful for this opportunity and is excited to watch herself on television. Now that the show is over, she plans to graduate from college. She wants to be a journalist after school. She does have a passion for modeling and plans to pursue that as well, preferably in New York.
Sandra doesn’t give us too much detail about the show. She loves Tyra and the Jays and admits she was there for the competition and not there to make friends. I’m really excited to see how far she goes on the show.
Sandra also gives some advice for the Cycle 13 casting calls, telling girls they should be themselves and be confident in who they are.
