Sara Evans is granted a divorce

After a year of drama, Sara Evans was granted her divorce. In addition to reaching a custody agreement, Sara has agreed to pay her husband at least $500,000 in alimony over the next ten years.

“Both parties are fully committed to raising their children in a cooperative and positive way. Both parties are loving and caring parents,” said a brief statement filed with the court by the lawyers for both sides. “They request that everyone respect the family’s privacy.
