Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have welcomed twin girls via a surrogate mother. Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge were born on Monday, June 22, in Ohio. The twins are sisters to the couple’s five-year-old son, James Wilkie.
“The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon,” the couple said in a statement. It’s believed that Sarah and Matthew were with the mother when she gave birth to their babies.
The names may be a little unconventional, but it’s all for the sake of tradition. Elwell and Hodge are both family names on Sarah’s side. I suppose that makes it a little easier to swallow. At least they’re buried in the middle there rather than being up front!
