A couple of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince updates for you that I’ve picked up at a few places:
- Jessie Cave, who plays Lavendar Brown, talks about kissing Rupert Grint: “It was a bit embarrassing. Our first screen kiss was on my third day of shooting.” says Jessie. “It’s been an amazing experience though. I’ve been completely immersed in the Harry Potter world since filming started last year.” Not content with just starring in one of the biggest film franchises of the century, the former art student is also working on publishing a book of her illustrations.
- Also, it’s rumored and almost officially confirmed that Clemence Poesy (Fleur Delacaour) will not appear in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Which sucks, but I kind of saw this one coming. No Fleur and Bill, no Tonks and Lupin….geez, I thought we were splitting the movie into two parts so we could, you know, FIT ALL THIS STUFF IN THERE.

okay, you really should put fleur in there. all she would have to do is be there @ shell cottage, like, just get a glimpse of her face and bill’s together. sheesh, its no that hard
and i wish she would be in HBP too, like to give harry his breakfast tray on his first night @ the burrow
This is why I was upset when I found out who was producing the last two/three! He seems to focus on the trio,which is a big part of the story line,but come on,the picture is so much bigger than just the three of them! EVERYONE has a part in how this story comes to an end! I guess maybe we have been spoiled with the books. But the first three movies,we so good,and kept pretty close to the books. I know everything can’t be put into the movies. But,there should be some way to fit in important character’s,even if it is just a glimpse!
i think fleur should be in both movies also– it sucks they’re taking out ‘phlegm’ ughhh i was looking forward to that. and i wanted to see bill really bad– what are they gonna do about the wedding and the shell cottage– i thought they might just use the tonks/lupin thing but with the way it’s going with them that probably won’t even happen
hopefully the movies will be good but it really sucks that the writers are cutting out such a huge amount of the books– especially the parts i was really looking forward to ughhhhhhhhh

but dont they need bill and fleur’s wedding in it? its pivotal, when they discover rufus scrimgeour is dead and the moment when the trio go on the run! surely fleur is a pretty necessary character at her own wedding.
good point y’all. what about the WEDDING!?!?!?!? i really loved that whole sequence @ the burrow, waiting for the wedding.
sometimes i dont really remember exactly what happens @ the wedding,b/c i read so many fanfics about the wedding. BTW, if you guys want to read a really good one, its called (ge this) THE WEDDING. i think i found it on phoneixsong.net. anyway
