As you all know from yesterday’s announcement, my name is Katelyn and I am the new Medium Dreams blogger. I love Medium and I just don’t understand why the whole world is not glued to their television sets when a new episode airs, so I am really excited to be here.
Reasons Medium should be a worldwide obsession:
- Patricia Arquette knows how to act. She has talent. If you don’t watch any other t.v. shows, you may not know that this can be a very rare talent!
- This isn’t just a show about psychic abilities. It is also a show about a family and the way they are affected by these abilities.
- Those kids are so cute.
- Jake Weber is the perfect foil for Patricia Arquette. He does the dry humor and scientific viewpoint so well.
I can’t wait for tomorrow’s episode! Please join me for my very first Open Mic Night tomorrow. Show me the ropes, talk about Allison’s clothes (Am I the only one who wants to send her a nice little red dress?) and talk about this episode and what you think will happen in the next two of the series.

Hi Katelyn, welcome. Your job is going to be very easy because you happen to be involved with the greatest show on TV. You also have probably the most dedicated fans to Medium and Patricia Arquette also.

Anyone who knows this is OKAY in my book, (not that Sheila didn’t) so I think you’re gonna fit in just fine here. It’s hard to believe everyone doesn’t watch Medium, isn’t it?
I have one small bone to pick with you – where is the love for Scanlon? You know, portrayed by David Cubitt, the world’s MOST perfect man. Ha Ha!
As far as Patricia Arquette’s wardrobe, I firmly beleive that the wardrobe people need to go consult with Stacy and Clinton on “What Not To Wear” – they are absolute gods when it comes to what flatters what body type. Either that or we could all nominate Patricia for the show! I’ve been trying to get my kids and co-workers to nominate me forever! You can’t be a free trip to NY, $5000 to spend on yourself for clothes, and hair and makeup by two of the best people I’ve ever seen, Nick and Carmandy, and of course the aforementioned Clinton and Stacy.

I love meeting new people who love Medium as much as I do! I’m sure you’ll do a great job keeping us up to date with all the news of the talented people who work on the show and all the information that goes along with it.
I agree with you on all the points you made about the show. I don’t get why everyone doesn’t love this show! I usually don’t make Open Mic Night because of time zone issues, but I’ll make a point in popping in towards the beginning to say hey!

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Betty, you’re right. I’ve been very remiss and will have to make up for the oversight. I’ll give Scanlon a solo spot post soon to make up for it.
