Aside from his upcoming appearance in the new Amy Sherman-Palladino comedy series, The Return of Jezebel James, actor Scott Cohen (Max Medina on Gilmore Girls) has been working on many other projects.
Scott Cohen has actually done quite a lot since his days on Gilmore Girls. But, more recently, he has completed four movies that are tentatively scheduled to come out in 2008. In two movies, his roles are quite minor. However, he takes the lead in the other two. Of all the movies, "Iron Cross" sounds like the most challenging and interesting.
The Understudy comes with the tagline "Dying for stardom she finds a role to kill for." In the movie, an understudy takes matters into her own hands to be the lead – to be famous – at any cost. Scott Cohen is listed in "other cast" as Jonny, the ‘dealer’ to Greta (played by Gloria Reuben). The movie also stars Marin Ireland and Paul Sparks. [imdb]

Iron Cross follows a retired NY cop (Roy Scheider as Joseph) who witnessed the massacre of his family in 1941 Poland. Joseph travels to Nuremberg to visit his estranged son Ronnie (Scott Cohen) – who had turned his back on a career with the NYPD and married a German woman, Anna. Joseph suspects the neighbor living in the apartment below is the SS Commander responsible for the death of his family. Joseph and Ronnie set out to get their own justice. [imdb]
Winter of Frozen Dreams is a crime / history movie. Scott stars as Eisenberg alongside Thora Birch, Keigh Carradine and Dean Winters. In the movie, Barbara Hoffman (Birch) plays a science student and part-time employee at a massage parlor. And she’s also a killer on the side. Scott is listed far down in the credits, so his role is probably not large in this movie. [imdb]
