Selena Gomez and Jake T. Austin are still in gorgeous Puerto Rico filming their “Wizards of Waverly Place” movie.
On Saturday, March 7th, the co-stars went to a beach there to help feed and rescue stray dogs for the charity DoSomething.org. Selena wrote about her day on her MySpace page saying,
"I’m honored to be the new ambassador for DoSomething.org! The last time I was in PR shooting Princess Protection Program we noticed all of these stray dogs and puppies. We ended up finding out that Puerto Rico has a "dead dog beach" its sounds worse than it is but people actually kills dogs for fun here.."
How sad about the dogs in Puerto Rico. It’s great to see Disney stars doing their part to raise awareness about something so awful.
On a lighter note…how cute is Jake’s curly long hair?

IT’S GREAT THAT MOVIE STARS,PRODUCERS AND DIRECTORS WANT TO COME TO PR TO FILM. I REALLY DON’T WATCH THE SHOW BUT I JUST SO HAPPEN TO PASS BY A COUPLE OF TIMES WHERE THEY WERE FILMING AND WAS CURIOUS AND FOUND OUT IT WAS THEM! ITS GREAT YOU’RE HERE BUT I DO FIND A LITTLE DISRESPECTFUL THAT YOU HAVE TO COME HERE AND TALK BAD ABOUT PR, WE DO NOT KILL DOGS ON OUR BEACHES! YES ITS TRUE THERE ARE STRAY DOGS AND PUPPIES BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT ALL OF PR GOES SPECIFICALLY TO THAT ONE BEACH AND KILL DOGS! ITS GOOD YOU ARE FEEDING THEM BUT PLEASE REMEMBER A LOT OF YOUR FANS ARE HERE IN PR AND WE DO READ WHAT YOU SAY. I’M GLAD I’M BOT A FAN BECAUSE I WOULD’VE BEEN VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THAT COMMENT THAT YOU MADE ABOUT US IN PR!!
