Shania Twain has announced she’s separating from husband Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange. This kind of news always makes me sad – especially when I realized they’ve been married for 14 years! They married just six months after they met in 1993 and have a six year-old son.
Rumors have been floating around since 2000 that their relationship was on the rocks and Shania was quoted in 2002 saying “‘our love has always been based on friendship and compatibility, [but] we are very different.’”
I wish her the best of luck.

I wish them both well. Maybe Shania will get out of that hidden mansion of her and start making music again. But with whom though? Mutt was not only her partner in life but in creating music too. I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
