Rumor has it that Shania Twain will be taking over the seat vacated by former judge Paula Abdul during the auditions for the upcoming season of American Idol.
Shania is apparently slated to begin her judging duties in Chicago on August 30-31.
She’s had a lot of personal struggles over the past 18 months, including separating from her husband of 14 years, Mutt Lange, after allegations that he was cheating on her with a friend. It’s great to see her getting back into the spotlight!
