It really bugs when gossip blogs post totally unfounded rumors as fact. That’s what was happening a few weeks ago with Real Housewife of Atlanta’s Sheree Whitfield and multiple grumblings that she would be showing a collection there.
Fashion Week is just around the corner and I checked the list of designers on the official website and I spy Project Runway winner Christian Siriano on the list, as well as Project Runway itself (the mystery season 6 finalists that we may or may not ever get to actually view) but of course, no Sheree Whitfield. What a surprise.
The icing on the cake: Sheree herself letting Essence magazine know that she will not be showing in New York in two weeks. She does have a website, finally, but the link to “Shop” still says: Coming Soon!
