Shia Lebeouf is not having a good week. Apparently, he was intoxicated and crashed his car last night, injuring his hand and knee. Here’s his official statement from his publicist:
“Attorneys for Mr. LaBeouf confirm that an automobile accident involving an additional party occurred early morning in Los Angeles on July 27, 2008,” said Melissa Kates in the statement issued Sunday evening. “Shia is currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of Transformers 2 within one month. No further comment will be issued at this time. “ – source

He had to have been COOKING for his car to flip like that. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Shia has been caught drinking too much; in January he was arrested for being drunk at a Walgreen’s in Chicago. He’d better get his shizznit together, and FAST.
C’mon, Shia, pull yourself out of this destructive spiral! You’ve got oodles of talent, don’t waste it. I’m completely disgusted with the DUI. When it was just public intoxication, he was only endangering himself. Now, he’s menacing all of us. No way for my Shia to behave!
